NEW UPDATE ABOU VISA FREE ENTRY IN CANADA

Canada has recently updated its list of visa-exempt countries, adding 13 new countries to the list. This means that citizens of these countries can now travel to Canada without a visa for up to six months.

 

The new countries are:

  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Argentina
  • Costa Rica
  • Morocco
  • Panama
  • Philippines
  • St. Kitts and Nevis
  • St. Lucia
  • St. Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Seychelles
  • Thailand
  • Trinidad and Tobago
  • Uruguay

To travel to Canada without a visa, citizens of these countries must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a valid passport
  • Be in good health
  • Have no criminal record
  • Have a return ticket to their home country

Citizens of these countries can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) online. The eTA is a $7 fee and is valid for five years.

The updated list of visa-exempt countries is a positive development for tourism in Canada. It will make it easier for people from these countries to travel to Canada and experience all that the country has to offer.
