Requirements for Travelers

To take advantage of the VWP, travelers need to:

 

Obtain an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before departure.

Have a passport with a machine-readable zone on the biographic page.

Ensure the passport is an electronic passport with a digital chip containing biometric information.
